November ROCKED! I was crowned!

Ok, technically I wasn’t “crowned” as in, given a tiara, but I might as well have been. I have been feeling like a queen, and here is why..in the month of November…

1.Design Thoughts was ranked #5 in Lamps Plus BEST HOME  BLOG sweepstakes.
I was given a $500 shopping spree and even better..a badge for my side bar 😉 ( excitement for bloggers) !!

2. Design Thoughts was also ranked #25 in The Top 100 Design Blogs, through Modenus ! There were 188 entries and I am honored to be at #25!!  Modenus is an amazing resource for everyone who loves design, and there will be an RSS feed to each of the top 100 blogs!! Thank you to my dear friend, Michele at Mod Design Guru, for adding me to the running!!
3. We enjoyed a beautiful Thanksgiving with dear friends, who welcomed us into their home!

4. We finalized our big move to Nashville, and found a home! We will be moving December 27th and waving good bye to the big apple! It wont be with out tears, but the path ahead of us is bright, and I am so excited for 2013, which I am calling “The Year of Family” !!! Cant wait to see what it brings!! 5. I did my first video post EVER for A new community called “Moms Just Being” that together with my friends Tracie and Kristie, was started in October. I was a little nervous to show my face and my voice, but I got an overwhelming response of positive feedback and better yet, a lot of people who donated to the relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy!

WHAT A GREAT MONTH!!!!  I am getting ready to have about 10 amazing bloggers take over Design Thoughts during my transition from New York to Nashville, so stay tuned for some great posts in the next few weeks 🙂 are you interested in adding a guest post to the mix? shoot me an email at ksdesignthoughts@gmail.com, I have 9 lined up and would love one more!
