Oh boy..this is a biggie!! I have been dying to share some big news from the Salter Homestead here in New York……I gave a very tiny peek into what it may be on Monday, and surprisingly there were about 10 of you ( not my family) who actually GUESSED! So for 10 of you..you got it!!!
Its a crazy story that could take you 3 days to read. But here are the parts that are most important.
My husband works in New York City.
He gets home at 7:30 pm every night.
Liam is 3yrs old.
Liam goes to bed at 8:30pm every night.
Liam sees his daddy for 1 hour a night.
We were raised in the Midwest.
We moved away from family 8 yrs ago.
We have decided to consciously create the life that we deserve.
We are moving to Nashville to focus on our family of 3.
I love cowboy boots and pink cowboy hats.
Grant will be home by 5pm every night.
Liam will see his daddy.
Daddy will see his Liam.
I will see my husband.
We will be together more.
Love, Kim

How exciting!! I’m happy for you, what an adventure…and to have more time to spend together as a family if priceless.
Debbie 🙂
My aunt and uncle live in Hendersonville (I guess you would somewhat call it a suburb of Nashville) such a pretty place to live and raise a family! Congrats and Best Wishes!!!! Jessicca Hembree Sommer
Congratulations! Nashville is a great city. As a Southerner, I’d like to say, “Welcome to the South!” You’re gonna love it!!!
so happy for you three!!! can’t wait to visit!!!!
Oh how fun for you and what a blessing to be able to speed more time together. Hugs, Marty
So excited for you! I love cow boys boots and Nashville will be an interesting city to explore!
That’s terrific! It’s so much more affordable to live in the south. That’s the only reason we stay…because we can have the family life and lifestyle we want on a teacher salary. There are some seriously beautiful old homes in Nashville. But I’m an old house junkie 😉
Congrats!! Nashville is an AMAZING city!!! Have a blast 🙂

I Watch the new hit show NASHVILLE on ABC, so I know a thing or two about that town. They seem to like country style music there 🙂
I hope you love it there! We’ll miss you. Save me some Tennessee Bourbon.
Thank you so much for all of your support!!
We are excited!!!
@artsy VaVA!! thanks for the southern welcome 😉
I am so excited for you all! Packing up and moving is always an adventure. Greg LaPointe and his family (they have two daughters about Liam’s age) live in Nashville. I hope this is a wonderful move for you. And in my opinion, that gets you a little closer to Denver!
Congratulations!! Very excited for you 🙂 Will miss you terribly!
Thanks Jenna and Rebecca!! Yes..packing is already proving to be an adventure…as well as a 3 yr old who is less than thrilled!!
Rebecca…Missing you terribly doesnt even describe what its going to fell like when I leave my sisters here 🙁
Super exciting. I just fell in love with ABC’s new show, Nashville! Now I’ll think of you and your new adventure every time I watch it. Best of luck. Can’t wait to see what time has in store for you.
That’s so exciting!!! Congratulations! I am so happy that life keeps getting better and better for you guys! Love you so much!!! xoxo
Congratulations!! I’m really excited for you guys! We visited Nashville last year and loved it! Can’t wait to hear more!

Thank you so much everyone!! I get more and more excited as the day gets closer!!!
Oh, you will be missed!!!! I do the one hour a night thing with Zoe sometimes, so I totally understand. Hope we can see you before you go!!!
OK, now I get it. Great reasons for moving. There is noting like family. I love change and adventures, so good for you. I can’t wait to follow along, because I know you will be tweeting and blogging.
