This is the month my little “Cancer” was born!
( Wow, that doesnt sound nearly as cute as I thought it would, but Im leaving it because it was truly my first thought..by the way..we dont refer to him as our little Cancer, its just his sign..ya know?)
In just two short weeks, my baby will be turning 2!! here is a little video of him saying so 😉
This morning started out so amazing, it was the kind of morning that I just secretly smile to myself, and say “thank you” for being blessed with a hall pass to this secret little world
( of mommyhood) I really feel that way.
Now, notice I said this morning started out amazing…we are now into the afternoon, and…well, let’s just say that I am choosing to stay focused on all events prior to 11:30..This afternoon has proven to be one of my least attractive days as a mommy, forgetting how to deal with the tiniest of upsets, and losing my cool, when a toddler fit ensues..not good for either one of us. BUT I thought today was a perfect picture of being a mommy, the most beautiful, mixed with the toughest, and in the end, the rewards are priceless.
This morning, I sat back and truly enjoyed the wonder of an almost two yr old, simply eating cereal, and rearranging my flowers, with no limits, no rules, I just wanted to see what would happen…and it was beautiful…
AHHHHH..Cereal done!! Now. lets re-arrange some flowers!! Is this only super adorable to members of my family and myself?? or are there a random few of you that do go gaga over other people kids ? like I do)
