I just returned from a 5 day vacation to Florida, and was intrigued by the different home accessories and finishes in the quaint little shops of Venice, Fl. I found myself initially saying, “wow, this is so not my style,” but as I walked further and further into the stores filled with Star fish, and beautiful shells, greys, purples and beautiful hues of blue, I started to change my mind!! When you are surrounded by sun, palm trees, and the ocean, you want to jump into all of these beautiful things!! so here are a few “Inspirations”
I know, this is so literal, but these little starfish are adorable, even just sitting in a wire basket on a side table! $3.99 for a dozen from silkfair, or better yet, go on vacation, and collect them yourself for free!!;)
Another Starfish inspired option..a little more eh-hem “pricey” at $121 a pop!! but do you love this starfish pillow from ABC home?? I DO!!! would / could I spend that much???..I refuse to answer at this point in time 😉 people tend do crazy things when they are in love! and P.S are smileys inappropriate for a blog entry? just curious 🙂
