CURBSIDE FREEBIES?? DO YOU?

Okay, be honest!! Have you ever found something so great in someone Else’s trash?? OK, maybe not trash, but for sure on the side of the road, and if you didn’t take it right then, the trash guys for sure would?? have you? Well, I do it all the time. In fact, most of Liam’s big baby toys ( exer-saucer and stand up play tables, rocking chairs) all came from one specific curbside in my neighborhood. I’m not ashamed. at all. In fact, I feel like I have conquered a great feat if I can see through a little dirt and see a gem. ( Side note..I would never take baby things that couldn’t be properly sanitized FYI) SO here is my most recent…an amazing hardwood, very sturdy child’s desk. It has tongue and groove detail and after sanding a few spots, we can see that it has really nice wood under the layers!! You should have seen me try to get this bizatch into the back of my station wagon..I was not prepared for the weight..BUT as any great dumpster diver would, I pulled up my sleeves and risked pulling my back, because hey…IT WAS FREE!!!  I cant wait to start this one…but I will have to ( more on that next week) so tell me…what have you found??
