A few weeks ago, I had the day off, and decided to take a trip into the city to hit a few places that I have been dying to check out ( yes we have lived here for 8 yrs, but NYC is abundant….lots to see)! it turned out to be a beautiful day, walking the city, bouncing into a cafe to enjoy an espresso while watching the hustle and bustle of Gramercy Park, then onto Chelsea to stop into Olde Good things. This is THE MOST AMAZING vintage reclaimed, recycled, re-everythinged store you will EVER see in your lifetime ( dramatic I know, but “blown away” doesn’t even describe) For years, my other designer friends have told me, begged me practically, to check it out…and I cant believe I am just getting around to it..anyway..I’m about to share with you a ton of pictures and what may be some of the most awkward self video ever taken. I am almost too embarrassed , BUT I’m going to anyway. I mostly took these videos to show my family what its like in the city, and a few of my favorite spots in case we ever move ;)…So here goes..My walk through NYC

Oh. My. Gawd! I would plan a trip to NYC JUST to go to that “reclaim” shop. HOLY MOTHER! I think I could get lost all day in there.
