Happy Earth Day!! This year, I decided to try my hand at Re-using something in honor of Earth Day. I have been looking at painted rugs on Pinterest for months, but was VERY skeptical about how one may turn out. Well, it turned out lovely and I am so happy with the results!! PLUS, I was able to use our runner that I have dis-liked ( for our house) since I got it!!
Here is how I did it!!
STEP ONE: .I Began by taping off a pattern! notice my use of 1,000 different tapes!! I ran out of every roll I started! TIP: be Prepared
STEP TWO: Roll on paint. I used regular Eggshell, you will need to do at least 3 coats, as It soaks in as it dries!
STEP THREE: Let Dry, then Peel off tape!!
It was super easy and I am loving our new rug ;)!!!
